Oops I did it again

So I want for the Inter-department debate yesterday. Hm… let me put it in another way.

My name was put into the inter-department debate team by the lectures and I want for the first round last week. To be honest, I really do now want to spend so many Wednesdays. But for the last debate, we kind of wanted to win because there was a MPA talk the week after (yesterday) therefore being in a debate is better than being at the talk.

But later we found out that the MPA talk was called off. And no one needs to go for that. However we still need to go for the debate.

So yesterday’s debate was done in a weird feeling; we wanted to win, just to know we are good. But I do not want to win because we do not want to go for the finals.

The final was against the school of business. Aka the school-debate-team team. Those are 3rd year students who train the whole of the debate club. The judges will be some big shots and schools were invited.

Yes, I’m in deep shit. On top of that, my maths ICA is on the same day. I need to talk to the captain.
